Took my vehicle here to have service on my gmc acadia, I was told it needed a transmission again. Cottman had just replaced the transmission on this truck 3 years prior of course the warranty had just expired. I took it to another shop who found a badly leaking transmission line they repaired it and it's been over 5000 miles and no issues with it now. Maybe they just missed it but there's a huge difference of about $5000 that I would have paid. That's not good. Seek a second opinion it may save you some money.

The job got done..but when it came to great customer service this place lacked it..Didn’t give much information and was short with answers..I may or may not go back..pricing seems fair but I may look around before I go back..

I'm disappointed that the transmission I brought brand new has to be dropped again to get to the rear main oil leak. After replacement service work was done for a brand new transmission ! I felt the tech should have caught that. EVEN IF IT WAS AN UP CHARGE! I'm not a nickel and dime customer. I specifically asked if anymore work was needed. I was explained. I was good to go. So I ask for an oil change. Surprisingly the oil change was $168.00. I did ask why it was so high it was stated because I asked for Mobile oil. Tech changed oil but I was NOT INFORMED that my oil pan gasket was leaking nor my rack and pinion. But on my return inspection from new transmission. This information was brought to my attention. I wanted Cottonman to do the work on my vehicle but my last bill was $4500. I was told I was good to go on my pick up. I come back for a follow-up and I have another $4500 bill in addition $140 Service charge to inspect.. I just felt like Cottonman was more reputable because of my pervious excellent transactions in the past. This last transaction was a COMPLETE DISASTER!
