I brought my 2004 4Runner in for a transmission problem. I just wanted to try Cottman because of their good reviews. I was tired of the Toyota Dealer always charging me thousands of dollars to fix problems. My wife and I were completely happy with their professionalism, outstanding customer service, honesty and most of all value. I will be returning whenever I have a service need. They even will work on my Toyota hybrid. I can highly recommend Cottman's base on our experience. I think you will be happy with Cottman's as well.

Needed a state inspection late in the day and they were able to squeeze me in last minute so I could finish my tag and title done that day. Very friendly and knowledgable, decent waiting room and fast service. Highly recommended and I will be using them in the future!

I was originally told by another shop my repair to my truck oil pressure light warning would cost about $1800.00 and 1 week to repair, however Cottman’s diagnosis and repair of the problem saved me $1400.00 with same day service. A trustworthy and reliable repair shop.

I went to Cottman for a MD Safety Inspection. Their price was excellent. They also got to me quickly, had a clean comfortable waiting room and finished the inspection pretty fast. The inspector found two minor things hat needed to be addressed for the car to pass inspection. The first was that the rear seatbelt wasn’t visible. Even though they told me it was probably just stuck down between the seats he marked it as failed. He could have simply reached in the seat to find it or called me to reach and find it. I pulled it out in less than 10 seconds. The second issue was two bulbs that needed to be replaced. Even though they have a service where I could have paid to have them replace the bulbs they just failed the car. After they took my money and then told me the small reasons why it failed I asked if they offered that minor repair service and they offered me a price. I left not wanting to then or ever again give them another dime.

I had a positive experience with the company and the workers. The only issue I had was communication; instead of them calling me, I had to call and check on my vehicle.
