Waldorf Auto Repair

I had a problem with my car, and Tammy at Cottman was just the person I needed to speak to about the car, and problem. The folks at Cottman fixed the car in short time, and gave me a great warranty. I promised them I would pass the word on!!!!!!!

Cottman Transmission & Total Auto Care really saved me! I had traveled to Waldorf for a few days to visit with family and attend a charity function. On the trip down, my muffler system blew up and I barely made it to Waldorf. I took my car into Cottman's neighbor as my corporate offices have a 'discount' program with them. After the long Memorial Day weekend was over, I received a call that my car was fixed are ready to go. I drove the 1.5 hours back to Waldorf, paid my $1400 bill and returned my rental car. I didn't get back to the other mechanic till after 6 PM, their closing time. My car was in worse shape than before and would not run safely. I saw Henry and the owner of the Waldorf Cottman chatting outside of their garage, so I pulled in. Even though it was past their closing time, they recognized the dire straights I was in and Henry stayed till almost 7:30 PM and got me running again! The entire time, he was friendly and professional (even offered me a bottle of water while I waited) and explained everything that was wrong and what needed to happen. I wish that I lived in Waldorf because this would be where I would take my personal and work vehicles to be repaired! They were the best. Thank you so much for being my personal savior that day!

These guys were very thorough with the car transmission repair. The car took sometime in the shop, but that is because to save me some expense they tried to fit me with a decent used transmission that had a lot of life left in it. They actually found at least three to try in the car. Later they made sure that the computer in the car was compatible with the transmission work. Any parts needed they got new from the dealer. When I was ready to pick up the car, they wanted to make sure that I would bring it back within the next two weeks for a check up, like at a doctor's office. They wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the work that was done to the car. They even offered to do the fluid checks & oil change. Was very pleased with the whole service and I would definitely recommend them.

Fabulous When I brought my Jeep in...I thought my transmission was failing, my check engine had been on for years, and I was getting an average 18mi/ gal. One day later I picked up my Jeep. It's running fantastic! 23-24mi/gal, the engine light is off, and I didnt need a new transmission!!! These guys are great! Quick, professional, great customer service, and extremely reasonable prices! Will def use again in the future
