I'm not from here, but this is the only place I go to get my Maryland State inspection. They're open on Saturdays as well and the staff is really hospitable.

These guys are true professionals. Had previously taken my vehicle to two others who recommended some outlandish repairs (like replacing the whole engine) and within a day cottman was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my engine. I highly recommend them for all of your automotive needs, New, classic or even historical vehicles, they have the knowledge and experience to get it done.

Called on a Friday morning to check their availability for a state inspection on my new vehicle. Spoke with Fred who told me to just bring the car in, which I did about 30 minutes later. I had called around to many other establishments the previous day seeking to secure an appointment, to no avail. If you need a same day inspection, I’d say look no further than Cottman of Waldorf! I was in and out in all of 40 minutes! Reasonably priced, in and out service and a customized bottle of hand sanitizer as a thanks!
